Throughout his life, James has held positions of ministry leadership while exercising conservative political influence. James has served in leadership roles of several ministries, including ministry director at Youth For Christ and pastor of a dynamic church that bridged generations and ethnicities with a common message of encouragement and hope.

James met his future wife, Monica, on a mission trip to Peru and it was clear that she was every bit as passionate about helping others as he was. Soon after marriage, they discovered their next great mission: to serve the desperate people of Haiti who were impacted by the unprecedented earthquake that killed thousands in 2010. Since that time, James and Monica have mobilized to bring supplies and, just as critically, hope to the people of Haiti. Satcher Evangelistic Association continues to partner with ministries, churches, and leaders across Haiti to care for orphans and those in need.

While leading S.E.A., James and Monica have once again answered the call to bring hope and liberty to the captives, launching the non-profit outreach Acts of Love, a ministry that aggressively fights sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in our and neighboring communities. James and Monica also serve as Chairmen of the Board for the Governor-sanctioned 12th Circuit Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition for Sarasota, DeSoto, and Manatee County.

James and Monica’s greatest mission has been to raise six children, including their nephew Jon, Jameson, 10, Zoe, 8, Isaac, 7, Gloria, 3, and another on the way this October.

Throughout his two decades of leadership, James has believed that Christians have a duty to God and Country to serve in government office. His background and experience give him the unique ability to bring conservative, faith-based values and unmatched passion to tackling the important issues that are shaping our community. Satcher is a pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, Constitutional Conservative who knocked doors to get out the vote for the “Trump for President Campaign” in 2016. James graduated from Berry College as well as Rhema Bible College. James also has non-profit and business experience responding to hurricanes and tornadoes in the United States.
